Ginger Glazed Soybeans for Vegetarians and Vegans

Soybeans or Edamame are awesome as a side dish for a vegetarian or vegan dinner or just simply as a snack. The ginger glazed soybeans are done in 10 minutes! As a snack it is far more healthy then chips or any other greasy crackers. And Vegans will love it, as it is just right for a vegan snack. Ginger and the soy sauce add the little Plus to it, otherwise soybeans are tasting pretty boring when streamed or cooked only. You can’t do anything wrong with this snack/side dish. Idea: Serve it with rice or a veggie burger. We love the ginger glazed soybeans – we hope you too!

Ingredients Ginger Glazed Soybeans

1 cup frozen edamame with shell, organic
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar, organic
2 tablespoons soy sauce, organic
a pinch of crushed red chili fakes, optional
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sesame oil (substitute can be canola or vegetable oil)
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated garlic
