Salads are considered to be healthy but they are only healthy if you use Non-GMO and organic ingredients. This healthy cucumber salad is after an European recipe and it is just delicious! Goes veryw ell as a side dish at the BBQ or with your favorite meat dish.
Ingredients Healthy Cucumber Salad
1 English cucumber, pref. organic
3 tbsp white wine vinegar, pref. organic
4 tbsp sunflower oil
salt, pepper to taste
1 dash sugar
2 tbsp of each: chopped dill, chives and/or parsley
Cooking Instructions Healthy Cucumber Salad
Peel (if it is an organic cucumber skip this step) and slice the cucumber very fine. It is important that the slices are not too thick.
Place cucumber in a bowl and sprinkle with salt (not too little).
Let sit for 30 minutes covered in the fridge.
Add oil and vinegar, spice with salt (if needed, pepper and herbs.
Fill in a bit of purified water (2-3 tbsp), the salad should not be too dry but also not to moist.
